Which spares do you have to keep to hand?
The ones that leave the system stopped and take time to get hold of: power supplies, a drive of the same model as the ones fitted, one of the switches that power cameras, one camera of each type installed, control panel modules and batteries. Which parts, how many and where they are kept is decided at design stage, not on the day something breaks.
The honest answer to «what spares are there for my installation» is a specific list, not a «whatever is needed». If nobody can answer it, there are no spares.
And a fast response that ends in «it has to be ordered» is not a fast repair: it is a fast visit and a repair that will arrive when the part arrives. That is why spares are the part of the contract most worth looking at and the part least compared.
