How often does the installation have to be inspected?

That is set by the type of installation and by the regulations that apply to it: fire detection and systems connected to an alarm receiving centre have their intervals laid down, and the rest is set by what is installed, by the use and by what the client cannot afford to lose.

As a working rule, at least one full inspection a year, spread over more visits when the installation is large or critical. And at least one of them at the bad hour: if the system works at night, inspecting it at midday is inspecting something else.

What really sets the frequency are the elements that degrade on their own and without warning: fields of view, lenses, batteries, cabinet filters and drives. In a dusty environment or one with vibration, all of that goes faster.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
