What is the Private Security Regulation and how does it affect me?
It is the regulation that, together with Private Security Law 5/2014 and the orders that develop it, governs who can install, maintain and connect alarm systems in Spain, which premises are obliged to have security measures and what has to happen before an alert reaches the police.
What affects the day to day of an ordinary company is three things. If the system is connected to an alarm receiving centre, the installation and the maintenance have to be done by a registered security company. The centre is obliged to verify the alert before passing it on to the State security forces. And there are compulsory periodic inspections that are not a sales recommendation.
If the system is not connected to any centre and the premises are not among those required to have measures, the framework is much looser. It is worth knowing what that means in practice: there is then nobody obliged to verify, nor to respond, nor to be awake at three in the morning.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
