What happens if my equipment is discontinued?
It can be maintained for a good while yet, on two conditions: that spares exist —from our own stock or from a checked second-hand market— and that the manufacturer carries on publishing security updates. When the second one fails, the equipment becomes a risk even though it works perfectly.
What we do is give you warning in good time. Every device has a date on which it stops having support and parts, and knowing it in advance turns a replacement into a line in next year's budget instead of an emergency solved with whatever is to hand.
And you almost never have to change everything at once. The usual thing is to replace the central part and keep the cabling, the cabinets, the fibre and a good part of the cameras, as long as they still give you what needs to be seen.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
