Do you maintain an installation somebody else fitted?
Yes, and it is an important part of what we do. What we do not do is sign the maintenance without seeing it first: taking on somebody else's installation blind means inheriting somebody else's problems and having to answer for them at the first fault.
First there is an initial inspection, and out of it comes a report with what is there, what is missing, what is badly fitted and what would have to be put right for us to answer for the whole. With that the client decides, even if the decision is to leave things as they are.
And sometimes the report says that what is there is well fitted and well maintained. That gets said too, and nothing gets sold on the back of it.
