Questions · Intruder detection
Which detector goes where?
The one that can tell a person apart from whatever moves at that particular point, and that changes from one room to another within the same building. There is no good detector: there is a detector suited to that place.
The criterion is not the make or the price, it is what is there: draughts, heaters, sheet metal cooling at dusk, animals, vegetation on the other side of glass, forklifts working at night behind a light partition, a street with lorries. A detector designed for an office put on a loading bay is going to be trouble, and it is not the detector's fault.
That is why the visit is made at the time when protection is needed. What moves in a yard at three in the morning does not look like what moves at eleven, and it is the second one you see on a normal sales visit.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
