What does the manufacturer's warranty really cover?
The part, and not much more. It covers the fact that the device had a defect and gets replaced, normally by sending it in or receiving a replacement. It does not cover the labour of going out to change it, or taking a camera down from an eight-metre post with a platform, or the video that was not recorded while the device was away.
When comparing warranties there are three things to look at that are almost never on the first page: whether the replacement is sent in advance or the faulty device has to be sent first, how long it takes to get it, and what is excluded. Lightning, surge and water ingress usually are, and they are three of the most common causes of failure outdoors.
That is why the manufacturer's warranty and the maintenance contract are not the same thing and do not replace each other: one supplies the part and the other is who goes out, who changes it and who had the spare to hand while the warranty one arrives.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
