Questions · Intruder detection

Does the installation have to be notified to the authorities?

In the premises that are required to, yes: the security measures are notified to the relevant private security unit and become subject to inspection. In the other cases, what has to be registered is the connection with the alarm receiving centre, which is done through the centre itself.

That registration includes something that affects everybody: the subscriber's details, the list of contact people and the notification procedure. That list is literally what decides who gets the call at three in the morning, and it is out of date in most of the installations we come across.

Keeping it up to date is one of the cheapest things you can do for an intruder detection system, and it is the first thing looked at when a real alert reached nobody. Every change of the person in charge of an industrial unit should be followed by a call to the centre.

See it working.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
