I already have cameras of a particular make. Do you work with what is already there?
Yes. We work with international manufacturers and we are not married to any of them: we are not distributors for any make and we have no quota to meet with anybody, so there is no reason at all to propose that you change what already works.
What we do do is say what each thing fits and what it does not. No make is better than another in the abstract; what there is, is equipment that does well in one environment and so-so in another, and old models that no longer get updates and are a different kind of risk. That gets looked at device by device.
When an installer only proposes one make, it is worth asking whether it is the best one for that case or the one that gives them margin. It is a question that can be put to us too.
