And if something does not pass the tests?
It is noted, corrected and that point is tested again, and until then the installation is not handed over. A certificate with outstanding points is a legitimate certificate as long as it says which they are, who resolves them and when. What is not legitimate is a clean certificate with a list of outstanding items agreed verbally.
There is a different category: what does not comply because reality does not allow it. A field of view that does not reach identification because the place does not let you bring the camera closer, or a backup power time that is not reached because the room takes no more batteries. That is not corrected, it is declared: you write down what falls short of what was planned, why, and what alternative there is if the client wants to resolve it.
It is uncomfortable to write and it is exactly what prevents the conversation two years from now about whose fault it was.
