Questions · The group

Are there clients you do not work with? Why?

Yes, and it is worth saying early because it saves both of us time. A security system is not bought: it is kept going for years, and that needs somebody inside who wants it. When that person does not exist, the ending is always the same: the alerts arrive at an email nobody opens, somebody silences them so they stop being a nuisance, and the following year the system is a line of spending nobody defends.

So we ask for one thing only: a named person —the head of security, of operations, of the plant— who decides what is watched and who gets alerted, who lets us in to inspect when it is due and who tells us the month the operation changes.

Nor does it end up working with somebody who compares three quotations on the total and picks the lowest, because those three do not include the same things and ours is going to be the expensive one; nor with somebody who wants the paperwork more than the system, to get through an inspection and little else. That can be done and somebody does it, but not us: two years on the system is no use and the ones who appear in the documentation are us.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
