How long does the equipment last and what can be reused when it is time to replace it?
The drives are the first to go, because they write non-stop. The batteries in the backup unit come right behind. The server and the recorder last longer, but they have a date on which they stop having support and spares, and that date can be known in advance. With two years' notice, a replacement is a line in next year's budget; with no notice, it is an emergency with whatever is available.
What is almost always reused: the cabling, the fibre, the cabinets, a good part of the switches and many cameras, if the lens and the sensor still give what has to be seen. What is rarely reused: the server, the drives and the batteries.
And it is worth knowing that a seven-year-old server is not replaced with another one the same, because it no longer exists. That is why the documentation is worth so much: with it, the new machine is configured in a day.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
