How much memory does the server need?
Whatever the simultaneous streams, the connected clients and the event database ask for, and that grows with use and with analytics. It is one of the cheapest parts and one of the ones that most often falls short, because it gets sized for the day of handover.
What swells over time is not the video, which goes to the drive, but the metadata: every event, every saved search, every number plate read, every rule that gets evaluated. A system that starts with room to spare can be tight two years later without anybody having touched anything.
And it is worth going in with free slots. Adding memory is opening the machine and closing it; having to change server because they are all full is something else entirely.

A written answer is enough to decide whether it interests you. To know whether it works at your site you have to see it on a real scene, with the image as it is and, on top of it, what the system understands from it. That is on the IRIS Neural website, which is the group's product.
